A hand cast and finished iron cougar head statue with a rusted finish.

These large, solitary hunters are native to the Americas and feature prominently in many native American myths, particularly the Incan. The cougar is reclusive and rarely attacks humans, and generally lives in rocky areas with a dense brush. This slightly stylised statue is just as comfortable in any outdoor location, however.

The rust finish will develop uniquely without any maintenance, and form its own protective seal. If a more uniform finish is desired, the statue can be primed and painted instead.
