DEMOLITION

As well as supplying materials for building and restoration projects, Source4 carry out regular demolition work using our own small team of take down and removal specialists. This team concentrates on small barn and outbuilding demolition and yard clearances. We are familiar with the relevant health and safety regulations and well-acquainted with the need for care and attention to a specific site's requirements.

We work with conservation and reclamation in mind, protecting salvageable fittings, materials and features and finding a new place for them elsewhere wherever possible.

For larger or more complex projects, we work with our regular third-party associates, PBM Demolition.

Source4 are proud to have been associated with PBM Demolition for almost twenty years. Founded in the 1950’s, the current business remains family-based in true Brummie style and they are very good at what they do.

Demolition is a technical business nowadays, and time constraints are a common problem in reclamation. Our working relationship with PBM spans at least a generation and has given us ample time to come up with cost-effective solutions to such frequent problems.

Demolition is inherently a dangerous operation, and Health and Safety issues are paramount. Bringing down any building requires lawful permission at least and planning permissions at worst, and PBM are experts in working carefully and in line with tight schedules.
